Pretty Woman: The Musical – The 90s romantic comedy was adapted into a musical in 2018. It’s been playing at the Saenger Theatre since Tuesday and will close out this weekend. Hit the link for times.
Gretna Fest – Located on the river, the Westbank fest highlights the best in local, regional, national, and international talent, food, art, and crafts. This year, the entertainment lineup features Tank & The Bangas, legendary acts Con Funk Shun, The Beach Boys, The Original Lakeside, and more. The festival starts at 3:30p on Friday and 11a on Saturday and Sunday.
Gentilly Fest [10/8 + 10/9] – The festival that celebrates all things “Gentilly” returns to Ponchartrain Park with live music, food from local restaurants and caterers, and fine arts and crafts. This year’s entertainment features Raj Smoove, HaSizzle, Partners-N-Crime, and more. 12 – 8p.

Black Girl Giggles – The comedy festival dedicated to highlighting Black women in comedy brings their monthly fundraiser, Second Sundays, to the Foundation Room inside House of Blues. The comedic lineup features Sylvia M. Holloway aka “Small Fire,” Ashleigh Branch, Geneva Joy, and more.
