In New Orleans, there’s literally a Second Line or a festival every weekend, and this weekend is all about the fests. From family scavenger hunts, to indulging in tons of Louisiana brews, to celebrating Tha Carter III‘s 10th anniversary, there’s a festival for everyone.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY

NOLA Downtown Music & Arts Festival – Hosted by the N.O. Jazz Museum, the festival is happening on the grounds of the US Old Mint. It’s free and open to the pubic. There will be music, food, art, pop-up shopping in the French Market.

Ogden Museum’s 15th Anniversary Celebration – Since its opening in 2003, the museum has shared visual arts and culture of the American South with the community. The celebration is free, open to the public, and will feature raffles, scavenger hunts, food trucks, free snowballs, performances, and more family fun. 10A – 5P.

Brewsiana: Craft Beer & Music Festival – The 5th annual House of Blues event will showcase Louisiana’s brews, bands, and bites all under one roof! Ticket prices vary from $10 to $50. 6P.

Lil WeezyAna Fest – Tunechi’s back in his hometown for the 4th annual Lil Weezyana Fest at Champions Square. This year, he’s celebrating the 10th anniversary of Tha Carter III (can you believe it’s been TEN YEARS?!). He’s bringing out special guests, Jeezy and Young Money Latina singer, Stephanie Acevedo. Tory Lanez will be opening the show, as well as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who opened last year. And as always, surprise guests and some of your favorite local legends will also grace the stage. 7P.
