Last April, Joey Bada$$ dropped his second studio album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$. The album, featuring singles,”Devastated,” “Land of the Free,” and “Temptation,” debuted at No. 5 on the US Billboard 200. In an interview, Joey spoke about the creation of his album.

“This new project is very powerful. That’s the best thing I can say about it: it’s very strong music. It’s like hella vegetables. It’s hella good for you, and it’s almost my hesitance with it: the fact that it’s so good for you, because these kids these days want candy. “Devastated” is almost like the organic candy because the message is still good for you.”

On Wednesday, April 25, Joey will be bringing his Amerikkkana Tour to Republic NOLA. He’s set to be accompanied by special guests, Boogie, Buddy, and Dessie Hinds. Tickets are on sale now, but Ashlee Nicole Spills is giving you a chance to win a free pair.
