For those of you who didn’t know, yesterday was National Grilled Cheese Day! To celebrate, new to New Orleans business, The Big Cheezy, held their grand opening to give locals the gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup experience. I’m not a sucker for grilled cheese, but I do like to dabble into one every now and then. Here’s a look at what I chose off the menu:
Mac N’ Cheezy
Cheddar on white with four-cheese bacon mac n’ cheez
Crawgator
Cheddar + Pepperjack on sourdough with alligator and crawfish sausages, carmelized onions, and grilled green peppers
The Last Strawberry
Sliced strawberries, nutella, marscapone, grilled on a sliced beignet with chocolate syrup
