New Orleans Oyster Fest – The festival will be held June 2nd + 3rd at Woldenberg Park next to the Energy Giant Screen Theater/Aquarium. Shammar Allen, Treme Brass Band, and Bag of Donuts are amongst musical acts performing. There will also be a P&J Oyster shucking contest and more. Admish is free but VIP tickets are available.

Nappy Hour – This event is said to make the people feel real good. DJ Jess and J. Saunders will be playing a mix of the best of reggae, hip-hop, r&b, and neo soul. There’ll also be hookahs. Fun. 4-11P.
