On May 12, 1998, DMX released his debut studio album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. The 19-track album featured hits such as “Get At Me Dog” (featuring Sheek Louch), “Stop Being Greedy,” “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” and my absolute fave, “How’s It Goin’ Down.” This year will mark 20 years since X released his first album; And to commemorate the moment, he’s going on tour.
The rapper, who was recently released from prison on January 25, after serving a year on tax evasion charges, announced the tour via Instagram. “Talk is cheap, Mothafu**a!! ❌Tickets On Sale Friday, February 8 @ 10:00am EST #dmx20yeartour ❌,” he captioned the post.
The 32-city tour kicks off on March 8 in Oklahoma City, OK, and ends on May 7, in Pittsburgh, PA. In between those dates, X will be bringing the show to New Orleans on Saturday, April 13 at the House of Blues. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8 at 10 a.m. local time (CST).
