Last week, Wednesday at the Square kicked off with the Soul Queen of New Orleans, Ms. Irma Thomas. The 12-concert music series takes place at Lafayette Square and will run through May 24 (+ bonus concert on May 2 between Jazz Fest sets) from 5-8 p.m. It’s free and open to the public; Your four-legged-friends are welcome as well, as long as they’re on a leash.
Food and drinks will be provided by some of NOLA’s tastiest eateries. Proceeds from food and drink sales will benefit the Young Leadership Council’s community service projects. Here’s the concert lineup:
