The Weekend Spill: April 22 – April 24

by Ashlee Nicole

A great weekend is upon us. It’s the first weekend of Jazz Fest! Acts like Steely Dan, Janelle Monae, Michael McDonald, and my family, Connie and Dwight Fitch with the St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Gospel Choir, will be gracing the stage. After JF, hit up a few after parties, jazz sessions and/or concerts. Take you pick from one of these fun things to do!

ALL WEEKEND

Jazz Fest – The 47th edition of the festival kicks off this weekend with acts like Steely Dan, Janelle Monae, Michael McDonald, Stevie Wonder, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maxwell, J. Cole, and more. From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., groove to legendary sounds while drinking über amounts of liquor and devouring the finest New Orleans cuisine on festival grounds. Tickets are available at the gate, but if you wanna be ahead of the game, purchase them here.
