Fresh out of Mardi Gras season, we are officially heading into festival season! This weekend dabble into one of the three festivals listed. There’s one for everyone! Also, check out other haps going on in NOLA. Have fun!

ALL WEEKEND

Soul Fest – Celebrate African-American culture this Saturday (3/7) + Sunday (3/8) at the Audubon Zoo. The two-day festival will feature delicious soul food and live music by Lisa Amos, Casmé, Nayo Jones, DJs Megatron and Captain Charles, and more. 10A-6P.

FRIDAY, MARCH 6

Trap Karaoke – SOLD OUT, but you catch it in another city!

Big Easy Blues Festival – The artists of all of your favorite barroom jams will be showing out at the 13th annual festival, held at the UNO Lakefront Arena. Tucka, Pokey Bear, and Roi Anthony are among the long list of performers. Plus, Captain Charles will be on the 1s and 2s, so you know it’s going down. 8P | TICKETS.

The Tipping Point – Good Music. Good People. Good Vibes. All going down for FREE at the Dragon’s Den. 11P.

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

Youth Run NOLA’s 504k – Presented by Urgent Care, the 7th annual event is open to the youth, families, and the entire community. Walk, jog, run, or dance your way to health throughout a unique 5.04 kilometer (3.1 miles) route through the Marigny/Bywater. Following the race, there will be free food and drinks, music by DJ RQ Away, and a live performance by DJ Jubilee. 7A | Crescent Park | REGISTER

NOLA Brass Fest – Rebirth, TBC, Pinettes and more brass bands will be performing live at Armstrong Park for the second annual New Orleans Original Brass Fest. A memorial parade, honoring late, great local musicians will kick the fest off and there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This event is hosted by Tonya Boyd-Cannon and is from Noon to 9P | TICKETS.

SUNDAY, MARCH 8

It’s Britney, Brunch! – Drag Divas present the most fun brunch you’ll ever have at The Fillmore. An all-inclusive ticket gets you a Britney Spears-themed drag show, an entree of your choice, and a complimentary mimosa. Doors @ 10:30A | TICKETS.

Harlem Globetrotters – the famed basketball team will be showing their tricks and stunts off at the UNO Lakefront Arena. 2P | TICKETS.
