Jazz Fest in the Park is a weekly, live music concert series that takes place in the heart of Louis Armstrong Park. The 8-week series runs from April 14 to June 9 and features music from some of New Orleans’ renowned artists from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. And it’s FREE!
Due to the tsunami-ish weather we’ve been getting, the event creators are pushing the opener (Thursday, 4/14) to Friday with the same hours as the regular schedule.

I have always wanted to visit New Orleans! Jazz Fest sounds like so much fun. I plan to visit in the month of May of next year so that is perfect timing for the festival! I really enjoy festivals so I am so glad you mentioned this. I’ll definitely be heading there next year!
