Ashlee Nicole Spills: Halloween Wknd – Rod Wave, Health Is Wealth Drive, Costume Parties + More

Happy Halloween Wknd! The next few days are packed with so much to do. From Big Stan’s annual Eyes Wide Shut Costume Ball to Rod Wave and Jack Harlow concerts to RQ Away’s Happy Feelins, the city will be on fire. 

As of Friday, October 29, New Orleans is no longer under a mask mandate. However, the city is still under a vaccine mandate, so most (if not all) places listed below will require either proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.

Abstract NOLA – This weekend’s vibe features singer Denisia, actor/comedian Riga Ruby, and DJ Antwigadee. Costumes are encouraged.

Health Is Wealth Drive + Pop Up – When Derin Lindsey received a diagnosis that could’ve been prevented had he gone to the doctor sooner, he was motivated to create an event that would bring awareness to black men. The wellness drive will feature health screenings, blood pressure checks, a fitness class, doctor chat, health food demos, HIV testing, breast cancer screenings, and info on health & life insurance, to name a few.
