BUKU has pulled the plug on the upcoming, special edition of their annual Spring festival. BUKU: Planet B was birthed to celebrate the resiliency of New Orleans after organizers canceled the 2021 BUKU Music + Art Project. BUKU‘s organizers follow suit of other promoters and event throwers forced to postpone plans after COVID numbers have soared.

An official announcement was posted from the festival’s Instagram account. “making a tough call re: planet B. refund emails comin’ next week, get vaxxed + stay safe. see y’all in 2022,” read the caption. Organizers ended the announcement on a positive note, alerting fans that the BUKU 2022 lineup is “insane so far.” Fingers crossed it happens.  Stay safe, yall.
