This weekend is a lit one! From indulging in all things fried chicken and beer, to being amazed at flying circus acts, to laughing your a** off, you won’t be able to choose just one. Plus, if you’re going to be in the A for the big Saints vs Falcons games, I’ve got you on events out there. Tap into my event picks of the weekend and have fun!

ALL WEEKEND

UniverSoul Circus – The multicultural circus ends its stint in New Orleans this weekend. Located at the Old Lake Forest Plaza on Read Boulevard, the circus features music, theater, circus arts, and much more. Plus, this year, the circus is celebrating 25 years. Free Parking is available at the UniverSoul Circus. Limited ADA parking.

NOLA Horror Film Fest – Created by horror filmmakers for fans who love all things horror, the festival began on Thursday and will carry on until Sunday, featuring featured films, parties, and closing out with an awards ceremony.

New Orleans Burlesque Fest – Burlesque dancers from all over the world will congregate in the Big Easy for the 10th annual festival. The weekend will consist of international dancers performing three nights, comic emcees, singers, variety acts, and workshops. One top classic striptease dancer will be crowned the “Queen of Burlesque.”
