Master P had a few things to say about his good friend Lamar Odom. As we all know, former NBA star, and Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada on Wednesday.
The NOLA-bred rapper is a close friend and mentor to Lamar. He told TMZ that he doesn’t believe those by Lamar’s bedside actually care and are doing it for publicity. He specially singles out Kobe Bryant, saying that he could’ve done something to help Lamar, knowing how much he wanted to play ball. He states, “I come from the streets, I keep it real… If you’re my friend and cared about me that much, why you ain’t get him into training camp…” He says Kobe knew Lamar was a great player and with Kobe’s clout, Lamar could’ve been the 8th man on the team. Master P ends his rant by saying the NBA blackballed Lamar because of his short stint on reality TV and gives a heads up to James Harden, who has been romantically linked to Khloe K.

Lamar Odom started his stay at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch Cathouse on Saturday. The Love Ranch is a full-service brothel, open 24/7. Its sister brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, was featured on HBO’s Cathouse: The Series, premiering in 2005. Lamar stayed in the VIP suite, having access to the two girls he picked from the lineup. Sources at the ranch say Lamar had been taking an extensive amount of Reload, an herbal substitute for Viagra and he confessed to doing cocaine before his stay.
A woman went to Lamar’s room and found him passed out. She ran out and screamed for help. The manager called 911, ran into the room and discovered a pinkish white substance coming from Lamar’s nose and mouth. An ambulance rushed Lamar to a nearby hospital. He’s now fighting for his life.
Khloe, Kim and Kris boarded a private jet two hours after TMZ broke the news. There were no cameras following them. Kobe Bryant was in town to play the Sacramento Kings, but once the news broke, he left the arena to to be with his former teammate. Lamar’s father, Joe Odom, who he’s had a tumultuous relationship with for years, also showed up, as well as Rev. Jesse Jackson who was allowed in for 3 minutes to pray with him.
We all know that things haven’t been the same for Lamar since his breakup with Khloe. Back in August, he angrily told TMZ that, because of the way he’s been portrayed, no one wants to bounce a ball with him or be around him.
If you’ve been keeping up with the media, you know that Lamar hasn’t been the same since he and Khloe split. If you’ve been Keeping Up With The Kardashians, you know that Khloe and Lamar aren’t 100% done with each other. Even though the two aren’t together, Khloe answers his calls and still reaches out to make sure he’s doing okay. They’re still legally married which makes Khloe the decision-maker in what happens to Lamar.
