Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends in NOLA. Although a few events have been canceled due to inclement weather, some are making provisions and are still rolling. If you’re not afraid of the city turning into a tsunami scene, and these events are still on, pick a few and have a blast!

ALL WEEKEND

New Orleans Wine and Food Experience – Come to your senses at the 26th annual food-focused event featuring the world’s top chefs, as well as hundreds of wineries and restaurants. If you’re a wine and food enthusiast, indulge in wine tastings, dinners and seminars around the city of NOLA. Ticket prices vary.

Greek Fest – Dive into great greek cuisine, family fun and live entertainment during the 43rd annual festival at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1200 Robert E Lee Blvd. If you get caught up in all of that construction around Bayou St. John, here are alternate routes to the fest.

Tremé & 7th Ward Arts & Culture Festival – The all-weekend festival will spotlight the traditions and culture of two of NOLA’s renowned neighborhoods. Take it to the streets and get into live events like the Baby Doll Crawl, Meet Under the Bridge, and Secondline. There will be food and craft vendors, and live music by Gina Brown, Kermit Ruffins, James Andrews, the Tremé Brass Band, and more.

FRIDAY

Drake Night

Pythian Market’s Soft Opening (Fri + Sat) – Similar to St. Rock Market, this new urban food collective, located at 234 Loyola Ave., is officially opening its doors on May 31st. The vendor list ranges from well-known restaurants such as Central City BBQ, La Cocinita and 1000 Figs to new concepts such as Cru, Poulet, and Kai’s and so much more! There will be soft opening events on May 25th and 26th at 50% off all vendor menu items.

So Far Gone: Drake Night – Philly’s own Dirty $outh Joe Magglezzz is bringing his So Far Gone: Drake Night party to House of Blues New Orleans. #DrakeNightSFG is the original and premiere Drake party night that has become widely popular across the U.S. Tickets are on sale, but win your way into this event here.

SATURDAY
TraPnB – TraPnB at Eiffel is an R&B-only party that is said to be the most exclusive event of Memorial Day weekend. 11P.

SUNDAY
Dîner en Blanc – The elegant all-white affair has been postponed due to the weather. The new date will be announced soon.
