This year marks the 18th anniversary of Nas’ third studio album, I Am…. Recently, the Queens rapper performed his 1999, Puff Daddy-collaborated hit single, “Hate Me Now,” alongside New Orleans brass band, The Soul Rebels. The forces joined on stage at this year’s Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia. Nas and The Soul Rebels will reunite at the 2017 Jazz Fest this Friday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. on the Congo Square stage. If your anticipation is getting the best of you, check out their recent performance for a little taste of what you can expect:
