New Orleans Wine and Food Experience – Come to your senses at the 24th annual food-focused event featuring the world’s top chefs, as well as hundreds of wineries and restaurants. If you’re a wine and food enthusiast, indulge in wine tastings, dinners and seminars around the city of NOLA. Ticket prices vary.
Greek Fest – Dive into great greek cuisine, family fun and live entertainment during the 43rd annual festival at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1200 Robert E Lee Blvd. If you get caught up in all of that construction around Bayou St. John, here are alternate routes to the fest.

Royal Street Stroll – Kicking off #NOWFE, Krewe of Cork leads the parade-styled stroll (5:30 p.m.) as attendees enjoy selections from wineries and restaurants along the way.
Fresh Friday’s Memorial Weekend Lift Off – DJ Hektik will be spinning on the 1s and 2s at Handsome Willy’s, 218 S Robertson St. Ladies, enjoy 2 for 1 margaritas, starting at 10 p.m. Admish is FREE!
Summer ’16: Memorial Day Weekend Kick-Off Celebration – Summer 16 is the social scene for all those stylish and trendsetting. Deejay Juice and DJ Keith Scott will be providing sounds for the night at EIFFEL Society, 2040 St. Charles Ave., starting at 11 p.m. Tickets

Red Bull Reign Basketball Tournament – The 3×3 tournament tests strength, teamwork and ability to dominate the court and earn the most points. The New Orleans qualifier will go down from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Joe Brown Park, 5601 Read Blvd. The winning team will head to Chicago in June to compete for the national championship crown and a spot in the FIBA 3×3 North American World Tour stop. There’s only one spot left. Register!

Tremé & 7th Ward Arts & Culture Festival (May 27 – 29) – The all-weekend festival will spotlight the traditions and culture of two of NOLA’s renowned neighborhoods. Take it to the streets and get into live events like the Baby Doll Crawl, Meet Under the Bridge, and Congo Square Secondline. There will be food and craft vendors, and live music by the Andrews family, Brass-A-Holics, Soul Rebels, Kermit Ruffins, Mia X and more.
The Top Back Alley Exhibit – Art. Music. Booze. The exhibit’s opening will feature art by AMB, Cyph and Gavin Jones with sounds by Lil Jodeci and DJ Q at Carrara Stone, 912 Julia St. from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Memorial Day Crawfish Boil – The Barman’s Fund is throwing a huge block party in the heart of the French Quarter. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 200 block of Decatur St. will be shut down for you to enjoy over 1,000 pounds of crawfish, live music, and fun, all for the good cause of Help for Heroes in New Orleans, the charity that supports Police, Firefighters, First Responders and their families in times of need. It’s happening, rain or shine, at Industry Bar and Kitchen, 240 Decatur Street.
