Today, Erykah Badu releases the follow up to her 2010 New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh . But You Caint Use My Phone is a reference to her 1997 single “Tyrone,” and, according to a press release, “each song makes reference to telephones and our own reliance on staying inter-connected.”
The 11-track mixtape features Badu’s baby daddy, Andre 3000, as well as Drake. Recorded with Producer Zach Witness in Dallas, TX, the mixtape features her “Hotline Bling” remix that she released in October, but the track is renamed “Cel U Lar Device.”
Erykah took to Twitter, asking fans to listen to the album in order.
