Sighs. What better way to bring us back to pre-Katrina than to have the hottest of the hot, Hot Boys reunite? YES, you’ve read right. Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Turk will reunite onstage at the upcoming Lil Weezyana Festival. B.G. won’t be apart of that reunion as he’s currently serving 12 years in prison. He’ll be missed but I’m more than sure the old school CMB (Ca$h Money Ballers) will hold him down.
Words can’t express the excitement I felt when I first saw the flyer online. I missed out on the first reunion, back in 2009, when it was Turk who was then spending time. Now, he, one of my fave out of the four, is back and I’m ready to spit bars along with him. If you are true to this city, you definitely know what it means to have the original Hot Boys come together and put on to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Who better to bring us back to what NOLA embodied but The Hot Boys. The letters that I’m typing can’t even BEGIN to explain how much I can’t wait until August 28. My old Cash Money albums are lined up, waiting to be studied over and brushed up on. I. CAHN’T. WAIT.
