Good Girls, Bad Girls, Go Glam!
Every year, MAC chooses a celebrity to be the face of their Viva Glam line. For those who don’t know, Viva Glam, along with the MAC AIDS Fund, was created “to directly confront and raise money and awareness for AIDS at a time when the pandemic dramatically affected the fashion makeup communities, and was greatly stigmatized as a gay disease.” Every penny spent on the Viva Glam line will go to men, women, and children affected by HIV & AIDs.
Past Viva Glam girls include, RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Ricky Martin, Nick Minaj, and many more, including Miley Cyrus, who is currently this year’s VGG.
Yesterday, MAC revealed Ariana Grande as their 2016 Viva Glam girl. Her line consists of a matte plum Lipstick that represents the bad girls, and a shimmering pink Lipglass that represents the good girls. Which one are you?
Ariana’s Viva Glam line will be available to select markets January 2016.
