Denisia just kicked off her new year doing something she says she’s dreamed of since she was a little girl: perform the national anthem at a Saints game in the Superdome. The New Orleans-born-and-bred singer lived out one of her dreams during Jan. 2’s game where the New Orleans Saints took on the Carolina Panthers. Denisia must have been a good luck charm because the boys finally won. 😉

“I DREAMED OF THIS SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL NOW LOOK AT MEEEEE,” Denisia captioned the above video clip of her performance. The “Hello” singer stepped onto the football field, slaying a custom green Ostrich Feathered Cuff Unisex Suit designed by kKofetche, paired with rhinestone-bowed pumps from FLY Shoe Boutique. Denisia’s hair was laid by celebrity stylist and owner of Flawless Luxe Hair Studio, Tater Pazon, Kay Winters beat her face, and she was blinged out with de’ Klaire Jewelry.

Saints’ Technology Director, Dan Soto, gave his Twitter followers a sneak-peek into Denisia’s rehearsal prior to Sunday’s game. “Today’s National Anthem singer has got A VOICE! Practice makes perfect,” he tweeted. Peep a 37-second clip of Denisia ending “The Star-Spangled Banner” on a good, high note:

Denisia‘s performance comes on the heels of the singer being an angel to many New Orleans mothers over the holidays. During the week before Christmas, Denisia teamed up with rapper Squally G to bail seven mothers out of Orleans Parish jail to spend Christmas with their families. The duo also blessed two single mothers with $500 on Christmas Eve.
Denisia has been and will always be an Ashlee Nicole Spills favorite. Can’t wait to see what else she’s cooking up!
